FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does managed IT differ from one-time support?
One-time support addresses a particular issue. Managed IT provides an agreed ongoing scope such as maintenance, monitoring, help desk and administration. Coverage and response expectations should be documented rather than assumed.
Can you work with our existing IT team?
Yes. A co-managed arrangement can cover selected systems or supplement the team’s capacity. Agree ownership of tasks, access and escalation procedures so responsibilities are clear.
What can a managed IT plan include?
Depending on the agreement, a plan can include updates, monitoring, help desk support, Microsoft 365 administration and security management. The actual systems, exclusions and support terms are agreed before service starts.
How are employees onboarded and removed?
An authorized contact should request account and device changes. We can help apply agreed permissions, configure devices and remove access when someone leaves. Retention and account-transfer decisions should be approved by the business.
Are Microsoft 365 and security licenses separate?
License and subscription charges should be confirmed separately in the agreement. Do not assume every product is included in management labor. We help identify the required licenses and who controls billing.
Are response times guaranteed?
Any response commitments depend on the written support agreement. Discuss coverage hours, priority definitions and escalation before selecting a plan. The website does not promise a universal response time for managed IT.
