FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is managed protection different from standalone antivirus?

Managed protection includes centralized oversight and maintenance rather than relying on each user to notice alerts. The actual monitoring and response scope depends on the agreement and selected product.

Can remote employees’ computers be protected?

Supported remote devices can be enrolled in managed protection. Internet connectivity, operating system compatibility and permissions affect deployment and updates. Agree which company or personally owned devices are in scope.

Does endpoint protection replace backups?

No. Threat protection and backups address different risks. Ransomware or device failure can still affect files, so maintain independent backups and test restoration rather than relying on a security agent alone.

Can every device use the same protection software?

Not necessarily. Operating system versions, hardware and existing security tools affect compatibility. We review the device inventory before recommending products and avoid installing conflicting agents.

What happens when a threat alert appears?

The response depends on the tool and support agreement. Some detections may quarantine files or require a device to be isolated. Agree contacts and escalation steps, and do not ignore alerts or restore quarantined items blindly.

Are security subscriptions included in setup?

Confirm licensing and recurring charges separately from deployment labor. Device counts and product features affect the subscription. An installation appointment does not imply unlimited ongoing monitoring or response.
